Responsibilities
* Answer technical support calls and emails from cinemas
* Commission, install, set up, and maintain servers and media players
* Perform integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files
* Conduct diagnostic checks on servers and media players
* Monitor the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency
* Upgrade the CDN to enhance content delivery capacity
* Manage content and handle data I / O activities
* Be available on call for night shifts, weekends (approximately once a month), and during Live Events
* Provide technical support during Live Events: coordinate with third-party tech partners, support second-level troubleshooting, set up and monitor media players, and assist at help desks during events
* Maintain communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
* Implement and uphold quality protocols
* Assist in increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to improve internal capacity
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management, and:
* Knowledge of Linux
* Understanding of network protocols
* Teamwork skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines
* Ability to prioritize workload with a sense of urgency, work well under pressure, and meet critical deadlines
* Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools, and workflows
* Experience in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
