At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a Senior Oracle Engineer to take ownership of the architecture, implementation, operation, and optimization of Oracle Database environments supporting mission-critical workloads of our financial sector client.

Main responsibilities:
* Oracle architecture and design: Exadata capacity planning, High Availability with RAC, Disaster Recovery with (Active) Data Guard, Backup and restore strategies using RMAN
* Performance optimization: Advanced use of Smart Scan, HCC, IORM, Performance tuning using AWR / ASH / SQL, I/O optimization and capacity management
* Database upgrades and migrations (Data Guard-based).
* Incident and change management following ITIL processes.
* Ensure security and compliance standards.
* Design and execution of HA / DR architectures and exercises.
Who are you?
* 4+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA / Oracle Engineer.
* Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata.
* Strong expertise in: RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Database 19c, Performance tuning and troubleshooting
* Practical experience with Exadata X-Series, Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, and HCC.
* Database patching and lifecycle management.
* Solid Linux administration skills.
* Experience with OEM / monitoring tools.
* Excellent English communication skills.
