Our TrinaTracker division specializes in the design, manufacture, and supply of advanced solar tracking systems for utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
About the Role
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in either Viana or Madrid, supporting the development and implementation of our tracker solutions across international projects. Key Responsibilities
* Perform structural calculations and validations for tracker systems in photovoltaic projects.
* Integrate tracker designs into large-scale solar energy installations.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation related to structural design.
* Interpret and apply relevant international codes (Eurocode, ASCE, etc.).
* Contribute to the optimization of structural components and internal calculation tools.
* Present and defend structural analyses and proposed solutions to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in structural or mechanical engineering roles.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
* Good command of English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to work and communicate effectively in an international context.
* Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Proficient in structural calculation software (e.g., Robot, Cype 3D, Consteel or similar).
* Skilled in 2D technical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
* Knowledge of foundation design is highly valued.
* Strong command of office tools, especially Excel and Word.
* Experience with 3D design software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus.
