For our Procurement Category Management team in Madrid, we are looking for a Procurement Category Lead - IT / Digital Services, SaaS who will report into the Category Manager Global Technology.
In this role, you will handle assigned sub-categories, acting as a subject matter expert. Demonstrating an eye for business opportunities, you will provide critical thinking to assure, protect and build value for PMI.
Your day-to-day:
* Be a trend setter and a subject matter expert in SaaS & IT services, developing and deploying Global Strategic Procurement plans by interacting with key collaborators, analysing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies.
* Develop and deploy global and regional strategies by engaging and building relationships with internal cross-functional partners, external suppliers, and industry experts.
* Adhere to current processes and recommend improvements to standard processes, focusing on cost optimisation, quality, and service levels.
* Manage high-cost contracts and vendors on a global level, ensuring service reliability, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives are met.
Who we're looking for:
1. BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related topics
2. Native or fluent speaking in English (minimum C1)
3. 5-7 years of experience in procurement of IT & Digital Services, or
