The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team and help build Solera’s key products for international markets. You’ll work in a Scrum squad, collaborating with Product and Business teams to deliver features that matter.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables. - Develop new features using Domain-Driven Design and Microservices Architecture. - Extend and improve existing applications. - Help modernize and break down monolithic systems. - Investigate and resolve issues in mission-critical systems. - Own feature delivery through the DevOps lifecycle. - Contribute to architecture and design standards.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in software development. - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. - Proficiency in: - ✅ Java & Spring - ✅ REST APIs - ✅ Git, Maven - Experience building large-scale web applications. - Professional proficiency in English.
✨ Bonus Points If You Have
- Frontend experience with JavaScript, React, and responsive UIs. - Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven, Microservices, and Hexagonal Architecture. - Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases. - Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery. - Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments.
