The main goal of this role is to influence customers to develop the category of contact lenses by generating new users. This involves changing the mindset of eye care professionals (ECPs) and owners to make them more proactive about offering contact lenses.
* Analyze businesses to identify opportunities and understand customer needs.
* Influence customers to change their mindset from passive to proactive about contact lenses.
* Understand and cater to the unique requirements of various channels, including independent practices, buying groups, and chains.
* Utilize essential tools to develop the contact lens category, such as customer journey mapping, point-of-sale (POS) optimization, database management, and training programs for customers.
* Execute job business plans (JBP) defined for each key account area.
* Broaden the Misight category by educating ECPs on how to improve children's lives with contact lenses.
* Coverage planning and sales process follow-up according to customer segmentation.
* Build strong relationships with customers, including ECPs, owners, sales staff, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Negotiate price increases when necessary.
* Contribute value to the team as a member.
* Stay up-to-date with CooperVision programs and utilize them effectively.
* Complete all reporting and administrative tasks.
* Maintain a good understanding of CooperVision products and competitors.
* Attend industry events and conferences as required.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
