We partner with hotels of all sizes and types worldwide to achieve their commercial objectives—ranging from independent, luxury, lifestyle, and boutique hotels to the largest chains. Recognizing the unique requirements and complexities of chains and multi-site operators, we aim to further serve this segment by hiring an experienced Director focused on European markets. The ideal candidate will understand how European hotel chains operate and be familiar with their adopted technology solutions. This role requires a trusted advisor capable of guiding chains through the complexities of the travel technology ecosystem, especially in distribution, business intelligence, and marketing technologies. It is an individual contributor role, requiring a self-starting, innovative mindset, focused on creating value for hotel chain clients while aligning with company goals. The position can be based anywhere in Europe and requires the ability to travel within the EU without restrictions.


Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business and go-to-market plan aligned with the commercial priorities of European hotel chains and RateGain's solutions.
2. Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with hotel chains across Europe, positioning RateGain as a preferred partner.
3. Lead engagement efforts with European hotel chains, generate interest, and promote adoption of our solutions, including negotiations and contract closures.
4. Manage sales pipelines, forecast, and track activities in real-time.
5. Meet or exceed sales targets monthly and quarterly.
6. Understand and articulate the value of RateGain products versus competitors to European hotel chains.
7. Collaborate with internal teams like Customer Success and Product Management to identify new opportunities, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Education & Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospitality Technology sales to European hotel chains, particularly in Distribution and Revenue Management, with a proven track record of exceeding goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Knowledge

* Negotiating commercial deals and contracts.
* Deep understanding of hotel distribution technology, including connections with OTAs, GDSs, content, etc., as well as rate intelligence and marketing technology solutions.
* Experience with Salesforce.com CRM is highly valued.


Skills

* Strong customer empathy and passion for revenue growth.
* Influence management through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
* Analytical, process-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
