Sommelier

Romazzino, a Belmond Hotel, in the stunning Costa Smeralda, is seeking a talented Sommelier to join our team for the 2026 season.

You will be a key ambassador of the Belmond experience, dedicated to delivering personalised, luxury wine service to our most discerning guests. You will demonstrate care, confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of community contributing to the excellence of the restaurant team and elevating the overall dining experience.

* Ensure smooth daily wine and beverage operations within the restaurant
* Deliver professional, personalised wine service and expert food pairings aligned with Belmond standards
* Curate and maintain the wine list, while overseeing inventory, stock control, and cellar organisation
* Lead wine tastings and create engaging wine-related experiences for guests
* Collaborate closely with the culinary and restaurant teams, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
* Previous experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining with a focus on wine service
* Strong wine knowledge, including regions and food pairings
* Excellent guest communication and upselling skills
* Ability to perform under pressure and anticipate guest needs
* Fluent in English; WSET/AIS certification and additional languages are a plus
* Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo (Confindustria)

Restaurant Host / Hostess

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team for the upcoming season.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, with a strong passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle challenges with professionalism.

* Manage telephone reservations
* Welcome customers upon arrival
* Escort customers to their reserved tables
* Attend to guests' needs (e.g., check‑room service)
* Assist with information requests
* At least 1 year of experience in the same role in luxury hotels and/or fine dining restaurants
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong teamwork skills
* Determination to achieve goals
* Fluency in English at a professional level; proficiency in an additional language is preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to adapt to various situations
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations
* Basic computer‑literacy skills

Chef de Rang

Romazzino a Belmond Hotel in stunning Costa Smeralda for the season 2026 is looking for a talented Chef de Rang to join our team.

The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic experiences in a world‑renowned destination to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

* Warmly greet and seat guests, present menus, and offer recommendations on food and beverages
* Engage with guests and deliver memorable and enchanting restaurant experiences
* Serve food and drinks with precision, elegance, and adherence to established service standards
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens
* Fulfil any requested operation including assisting with restaurant preparation, table setups and service on the floor, mise‑en‑place and cleaning
* Respect the Belmond standards, policies and procedures, while observing all safety and hygiene directions so that they are met at all times
* Establish and maintain a polite and caring relationship with all guests while handling their requests and enquiries
* Work closely with the Restaurant team to ensure the best service is always delivered
* Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or similar role in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
* Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage service, including fine dining etiquette and standards
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a refined and engaging demeanor
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
* Excellent memory and attention to detail
* A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage
* Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards
* Knowledge of wine and spirits is highly desirable
