AI Code Assistants like Cursor, Copilot, and Claude bills double quarter over quarter — and no one owns the line item. Olumia pulls spend and usage from every AI-tool vendor into one place, then surfaces license waste, per-seat economics, forecasts, and allocation by team.
You'll own the entire backend: the pipelines that feed the platform, the data model that holds it, the engine that scores it, and the APIs that power the product. You partner directly with the founder, who owns the frontend — you hand off clean, well-modeled data and endpoints.
What you'll own
01 Vendor data pipelines
Integrations that pull spend, seat & usage data from Cursor, Copilot, Claude and more — auth, rate limits, scheduled syncs, normalization.
02 Data architecture
The multi-tenant Postgres/Supabase schema behind spend, seats, vendors, groups & tenants — with row-level security and data integrity first.
03 Rightsizing engine
Logic that detects wasted & over-allocated seats, computes blended per-seat rates, and powers reclaim recommendations.
04 Forecasting & alerts
Projected-excess forecasting and the notification system that flags spend spikes by user, vendor, or group.
05 APIs & automation
The edge functions, scheduled jobs, and internal APIs that keep data fresh and feed the frontend — clean contracts, CSV import/export, extensibility.
06 Reliability & direction
Deployment, monitoring, performance, and the security of sensitive billing data — plus the backend architecture & roadmap calls. Your decisions ship.
You bring:
* 4+ years of backend development, strong in Node.Js or Python.
* Strong Postgres / Supabase (or equivalent): schema design and multi-tenant modeling.
* Proven third-party API integration — pulling, normalizing & syncing external data reliably.
* Solid data-pipeline / ETL instincts: scheduled syncs, idempotency, partial-failure handling.
* Shipped SaaS or API-driven apps where correctness of numbers matters.
* Comfortable designing clean API contracts to hand off to a frontend.
* Independent, end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving early-stage environment.
Bonus to have:
* Built scoring, rules, or recommendation engines.
* Worked with billing / metering / FinOps or cost-allocation data.
* Familiar with LLM & AI-vendor APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Copilot).
* Experience with forecasting / time-series.
* Comfortable with serverless / edge functions & cloud infra.
What we offer:

* Base salary: €40,000-€60,000 depending on experience
* Performance-based yearly bonus
