This is what you can expect
The Parts Laboratory at ALTER TECHNOLOGY covers a wide range of activities oriented to provide confidence for the use of EEE parts in space and other high-reliability applications. The services offered vary from receiving inspection to complete evaluation and qualification of ICs. As part of the Electrical Test Laboratory, you will be responsible for EEE parts characterization and automation of electrical test as well as for device interface board (DIB) development according to laboratory test systems. In this context you will:
4. Develop customized DIB solutions, which are then integrated into a production test environment.
5. Manage parametric test automation programming.
6. Troubleshoot production issues, such as test setups, programming issues, wrong test methods.
7. Design and develop electronic systems and sub-systems.
8. Provide technical support to customers and manufactures.
This is what we expect
9. Electronics or related university degree; PhD will be an asset; lower qualifications will be considered based on experience
10. Relevant experience in electronic test and characterization engineering; experience in electronic system design and with laboratory equipment (power supplies, signal generator, SMU, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal test equipment, GPIB, etc.)
11. Experience in working in a multidisciplinary environment
12. Understanding and knowledge of complex microelectronic devices/analog, digital and mixed signal
13. Familiarity with software and firmware programming (VHDL/VERILOG, Visual Basic, C++, Python) and with communications protocols (ETH, SPI, I2C) as well as with Altium/PADS schematic capture, layout tools and PCB manufacture
14. Knowledge in the following areas desirable: automatic test equipment/ATE (Teradyne UltraFlex, SZ UNITES and/or Applicos ATX7006, Cohu DiamondX Test System), mechanical design (SolidWorks, Inventor)
15. Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written) in a team environment; other languages will be an asset
16. Motivated, proactive approach to work along with the capability to solve technical problems and to create and implement new technical solutions
