Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m/f/x))
Your Tasks
Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know -howDevelop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systemsReview cable design and manufacturing documentsPrepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervisionBackoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing processManage the interface to the cable installationIdentify and report technical risksContribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farmsReport to package and/or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work
Your Profile
Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineeringSeveral years of relevant subsea cable engineering experienceFamiliar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documentsExperience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or AC power transmissionExperience in offshore wind and/or interconnector projectsFluency in EnglishWillingness to undertake regular trips to the project countriesValid EU work permit
