Responsibilities:
Complete production orders in accordance with customer and product specifications.
Coordinate production technicians; designate work shifts & work stations to ensure production schedule as well as daily, weekly and yearly production goals are met.
Promote and ensure attendance of production technicians to training courses and meetings in which they are scheduled.
Collaborate with the IMU team (Integrated Manufacturing Unit) in the definition of process parameters and activities to optimize productivity, safety and product quality.
Verify the update and maintenance of process parameters in the Quality Management System.
Apply and enforce the rules, procedures, and indicators concerning quality, ecology, and safety, so as to eliminate or minimize environmental pollution in water, air, and soil, occupational hazards, unsafe conditions, waste, and defective parts.
Ensure all equipment is prepared, check the equipment and/or tools to ensure they are in optimal condition for a safe and productive start at the beginning of each shift.
Ensure compliance with quality objectives by the strict application of policies, procedures, and quality plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
5 to 7 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Experience in rubber vulcanization and assembly processes is desired.
Technical Knowledge: APQP, FMEA, Quality tools (e.g. 8D, SixSigma, Problem Solving),
General Business Skills: English, Leadership: People Management
KPI's: Zero accidents, OEE, DLP, % Defects,, PPM’s & Customer complaints, improvement ideas
