Workster is partnering with a fast-growing global technology and services leader to hire an Accounting Specialist in Barcelona. Join a dynamic finance team, work with international clients, and take ownership of key accounting processes in a role that combines accuracy, compliance, and strategic impact.
What You’ll Do
* Record and classify transactions in the general ledger (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
* Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and closing reports
* Reconcile bank, customer, and supplier accounts
* Manage invoicing, collections, and payments while ensuring VAT and tax compliance
* Support audits and prepare internal financial reports and forecasts
* Monitor inventories and fixed assets, posting entries and adjustments
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
What We’re Looking For
* Proficient Spanish and advanced English (B2+)
* 2–3 years of accounting experience
* Strong ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
* Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Microsoft Office proficiency; ERP/accounting software experience is a plus
