CeraShield is an expanding company specialising in ceramic coating for yachts, dedicated to providing top-quality solutions for the luxury yacht industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Financial Accountant Manager to join our team in Mallorca, Spain, to drive business growth through effective financial management, accurate reporting, and strategic planning.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Financial Reporting_
Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure consistency between management accounts and statutory accounts through accurate reconciliation.
- Project Accounting_
Oversee and report on project P&L;, including budget vs. presente analysis, project margins, work-in-progress (WIP), and control of man-hours.
- Internal Processes and KPIs_
Develop and implement KPIs, processes, and protocols related to workforce planning, project pipeline, order book management, stock control, and internal communication. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Sales team to ensure effective tracking and analysis of business operations.
- Treasury and Cash Management_
Manage treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
- Billing and Payments_
Oversee billing processes for customers, suppliers, and third parties, as well as the management of payments.
- Tax, Legal, and Compliance_
Ensure compliance with tax, labour, and mercantile obligations, working closely with external advisors. Supervise local and port tax obligations as needed.
- Insurance Management_
Manage the company’s and project-related insurance policies.
We are looking for an organised, dynamic, and results-oriented individual to support senior management in strategic decision-making and contribute to identifying challenges and opportunities.
**Skills and Requirements**
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar financial management position.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
- Previous experience in the nautical or yacht services industry will be valued.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (native or near-native level).
