**Sales & Marketing Controller**
**About the Role**
In this position you will overlook at the whole P&L; of determined product categories across Spain and Portugal. Closing, forecast, and financial analysis will be core activities embedded in the role.
You will play a critical role within the multifunctional Teams by partnering with Sales & Marketing colleagues and within the Regional Team of Country controllers, by contributing to Management decision making.
The role would be ideally located in Valls (else in Barcelona with regular trips to Valls) with work from home as per Essity Policy.
**What you will Do**
- Close monthly actuals according to the accounting standards, analyzing gaps and deviations, and drive corrective actions if necessary.
- Report monthly closing and follow up on main KPIs.
- Deliver annual financial Budget and quarterly forecast
- Follow-up Working Capital.
- Challenge and support the local management team in all financial aspects.
- Provide required information from the sales & marketing team to local, regional, and central team.
- Support to the other departments in day-to-day activities.
**Who you Are**
- Degree in Business Administration or similar
- 5-10-years experience in Controlling on a FMCG Company.
- Pragmatic and can-do attitude.
- Autonomous in the core Controlling tasks.
- Strong technical/IT skills in excel and SAP/BW. knowledge of SAP HANA and Power BI, will be a plus.
- Proactive in looking for profit opportunities and process efficiencies.
- Initiative and passion to succeed.
- Fluence in English and Spanish.
