What to Expect: POP MART is a boutique-sized company with a young and multicultural team where you can expect to gain valuable professional experience covering the entire retail life cycle, work with people from different countries and cultures in a collaborative environment, receive structured customer service, retail operations and product training, and be proactively involved in the company's growth.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Store Manager overseeing all aspects of store operations
* Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
* Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets
* Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishment
* Control stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shoplifting
* Own visual merchandising
* Ensure the store tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level
* Manage the cashier point's daily opening and closing procedures
* Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
* Assist in recruitment, evaluation of potential candidates' performance, and training new team members
* Perform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and sales reporting
* Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
* 3+ years full-time experience in store management
* Fluent in professional English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proactive with strong customer service skills to provide a memorable shopping experience
* Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising a team
* Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
* Proficient in administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and reporting
* Effective time management and task prioritization abilities
* Team-oriented with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience in the toy or collectibles industry
* Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
* Familiarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systems (CEGID)
