Pb GENERAL DESCRIPTION /b /pp The Legal Associate will be part of the Ocean Winds Headquarters Legal Team, providing broad legal support across the business. The role involves close interaction with Business Development (including MA, bid structuring, origination and partnerships), as well as Finance, Procurement, IT, BPE, People and Innovation teams. /p p This is a challenging and highly rewarding role in a fast‑paced international environment, offering exposure to complex transactions and strategic decision‑making at group level. /p pb MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES /b /pp The Legal Associate will be responsible for, among others: /pulli Providing legal support to HQ teams on a regular basis and to country/project level from time to time, including, among others, to BD (including, MA, bid structuring, origination and partnerships); Finance; Procurement; IT; Business Process Excellence and Communications; People/HR; and Innovation team at OW headquarters. /lili General legal support across the organisation, including commercial agreements and corporate governance matters, as requiredc. /lili Identifying and proactively managing legal risks, proposing practical and commercially sound solutions. /lili Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex transactional and project documentation. /lili Analysing and advising on complex legal issues arising across the business. /lili Managing claims and contentious matters, where relevant. /lili Coordinating and efficiently managing external counsel, with a strong focus on quality, responsiveness and cost control. /lili Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and sharing knowledge and best practices within the organisation, including internal training where appropriate. /lili Ensuring compliance with Ocean Winds’ internal policies and applicable laws, and fostering a strong culture of ethics and compliance supporting OW Compliance Team. /lili Contributing to continuous improvement of legal processes, operational efficiency and decision‑making at HQ level. /li /ul pb ACADEMIC BACKGROUND /b /pulli Law Degree from a reputable university. /lili Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is a plus. /li /ul pb LANGUAGES /b /pulli Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. /lili At least one additional language required. /lili Any other language is a plus. /li /ul pb PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE /b /pulli3-5 years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to MA and/or Project Development and/or Project Finance.
