Description and RequirementsOpportunity for an experienced and dynamic PR and Communications Manager to join our Junior Adventures Group (JAG) team in Melbourne. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic communication plans to promote our brand and enhance our reputation in the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) sector, work ing closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the media to effectively communicate the JAG brand proposition, values, and achievements.About the roleReporting to the Senior Marketing Manager (ANZ), y our role will include working closely with the marketing and product teams, along with the service delivery and business development teams to develop and implement effective and consistent key messages that set the sector agenda, enhance the group’s reputation for quality, and differentiate the JAG brand. We live and breathe our company values every day by be ing considerate, passionate, and courageous, and mak ing a difference.Who are we looking for?We can teach you about JAG, but here are a few basics you ’ll need: Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field Minimum 5 years proven experience in a PR and communications role Demonstrated ability to develop, promote and optimise content across owned, earned, and paid channels Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences Excellent media relations skills, with a positive track record of securing media coverage and managing media inquiries Experience in crisis communication management and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and tact Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and media monitoring tools A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for promoting positive social impact through effective communication Australian work rightsWhat's in it for you?
