Position Overview
The Therapy Development Manager is responsible for clinical support and management of the Coronary Sinus Reducer therapy, including prospecting and relationship building to increase account revenue and customer satisfaction within the Reducer product line and assigned geography. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, building trust through education and support, and requires expert knowledge in refractory angina. Close collaboration with Interventional and general Cardiology specialists is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop expert knowledge of the Coronary Sinus Reducer and be recognized as a product expert.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the disease area and product details.
* Provide clinical and technical support to ensure procedural success and therapy adoption.
* Educate healthcare providers on product use and clinical data benefits.
* Understand customer needs, address objections, and gain commitments.
* Respond promptly to customer requests and complaints following internal policies.
* Collaborate internally and externally to facilitate access to new technologies.
* Maintain accurate account and territory records.
* Develop and execute business plans for the territory.
* Report progress regularly to the National Sales Manager, including product performance and customer feedback.
* Assist in forecasting and setting business goals.
* Work with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
* Build strong internal relationships and contribute to team efforts.
* Follow company policies for safety and compliance.
* Provide monthly expense reports.
Requirements
* Proficient in Spanish; basic English skills are highly desired.
* Experience in the medical device market, especially Interventional Cardiology.
* Clinical support experience in a cathlab setting is required.
* Experience with general Cardiology is preferred.
* Proven track record of commercial success and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Based near the territory with willingness to spend 90%+ in accounts.
* Positive, enthusiastic team player.
