AkensNordburg is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f) for an international company that develops and commercializes trenchless systems to liaise with water network operators, engineering firms, and contractors. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing engineered solutions for trenchless renovation of pressure pipes in Spain and Portugal. The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in Business Development within the trenchless industry in Spain/Portugal, with a strong technical background in construction and cultural sensitivity for stakeholder communication. The position reports to the Director of Business Development Europe in Germany.Responsibilities include:
Educate network operators and engineering firms about trenchless rehabilitationProvide engineering support for design, planning, and execution of rehab projectsCreate technical specifications and quotations in collaboration with the Head OfficeAssist during all project phases, including on-site supervisionRepresent the company at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and road showsIdentify channels to promote products and meet sales targetsManage certified partners within the territoryPreferred qualifications:
Civil Engineer or related field with 5+ years in trenchless pipe rehabilitationStrong communication skills in liaising with engineering firms, contractors, and network operatorsProven sales record in the construction industryFluent in Spanish and English;
Portuguese is a plusStructured, analytical, self-motivated, and result-orientedWilling to travel within Spain/Portugal and occasionally to GermanyLoyalty and integrity demonstrated in previous rolesWork location:
