Base pay range
The Event Director will oversee Marketing, Content, and Operations, and work closely with the CCO and Sponsor Success team to guarantee sponsor satisfaction and alignment between sales and delivery. The role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Operational Management
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team across Content, Marketing, and Operations.
- Act as the main point of coordination for the event lifecycle, from marketing campaigns to post-event analysis.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability.
- Align priorities and deliverables across teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Marketing & Communications
- Oversee the Marketing department (branding, PR, paid media, content, website, and performance).
- Ensure visual and narrative consistency across all channels and event materials.
- Align marketing campaigns with the CCO to ensure coherence between what is sold and what is communicated.
- Analyze performance results and optimize conversion, awareness, and engagement strategies.
- Event Execution & Experience
- Have full ownership of the overall event experience, ensuring coherence between content, sponsors, marketing, logistics, and design.
- Oversee the content team on speaker agenda, startup competition, breakfasts, dinners, parties and side events.
- Oversee the Operations Manager on logistics (venue, suppliers, build-up, food, AV, stands, accreditation).
- Coordinate with the Sponsor Success Manager to ensure deliverables are met and clients are highly satisfied.
- Keep strict control over deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Project Management & Processes
- Create and maintain event timelines and playbooks, ensuring all departments follow a unified methodology.
- Implement and manage project management tools (Asana, Notion, Monday, etc.).
- Control costs and drive operational efficiency.
- Continuously improve internal workflows to make the company more scalable.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in B2B event management or conference production (min. 3,000 attendees).
- Very strong background in event marketing and communications (brand, PR, campaigns).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams (marketing, content, operations, sponsor success).
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Calm, structured, and solution‑oriented, able to perform under pressure.
