QLM Search is partnering a specialist US based ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director for their European business. Reporting to the Business Unit Chief Sales Officer and forming part of a the global sales leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 2-4 year commercial strategy in this specialist Ingredients division across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
* Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
* Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
* Manage individual sales targets and KPIs.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.
Candidates in this individual contributor Sales Director position MUST have proven experience as a Sales Director within the B2B Food Ingredients sector ONLY (Food, Meat, Bakery categories are an advantage) sector. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation
