Senior Principal Consultant | Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, AI, Robotics and Machine Learning
We’re seeking a number of Machine Learning Engineers to push the boundaries of AI efficiency. Our clients quantum-inspired compression technology can reduce large language models by up to 95% without accuracy loss and slash inference costs by as much as 80%.
Backed by global investors and major EU support, our clients technology is already reshaping how AI is deployed worldwide by cutting costs, slashing model sizes, and making systems faster, greener, and more accessible.
Fixed term contracts, working on a hybrid model in Zaragoza.
The initial contract is due to run until June/July 2026 with the possibility of extensions.
You will receive a base salary, plus bonus and retention bonus.
In this role you’ll:
* Build data and model pipelines end-to-end: from dataset creation and validation to training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
* Design evaluation frameworks to ensure model competence, reliability, and alignment with user and product goals.
* Scale training and inference workflows across distributed compute environments and optimize model throughput.
* Improve models post-training using SFT, preference-based, or reinforcement learning techniques.
* Apply compression and optimization methods to meet performance and efficiency targets.
* Collaborate with ML engineers, researchers, and software developers on data, evaluation, and model serving.
* Contribute to a shared Python codebase, maintaining high engineering standards and clear documentation.
What you’ll need:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
* 5+ years relevant experience
