We’re hiring a Europe Regional Lead to join us in managing the growth of our business in the European region.
Job Summary :
The European Regional Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing business operations within Europe in the EMEA region. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth, managing regional sales teams, fostering key client relationships, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. In addition, the European Regional Lead will be tasked with managing key countries through distributors, requiring sales management experience. The role will also require close collaboration with various departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to achieve targets and enhance the Company's presence and profitability in the European market.
Key Responsibilities :
* Physicians Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key pathologists, oncologists and policy stakeholders in the European region. Understand oncology clinical needs, future trends, and provide solutions to ensure market satisfaction and retention. Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
* Sales Management : Lead and manage regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to sales personnel to enhance their performance. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, analyse data to identify trends, and implement corrective measures as needed.
* Developing and Implementing Business Strategies : Develop comprehensive business strategies for the European region in alignment with corporate objectives. Identify market opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and devise plans to maximize revenue and market share.
* Market Expansion and Penetration : Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's market presence in the European region. Explore new markets, channels, and business opportunities. Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to facilitate market penetration and growth.
* Budgeting and Financial Management : Develop annual budgets for the European region and ensure adherence to financial targets. Monitor expenses, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability. Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management.
* Operational Efficiency : Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the European region. Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance productivity and performance.
* Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies within the European region. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure. Maintain high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
* Team Leadership and Development : Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent within the European regional team. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans as necessary.
* Distributor Market Management : Take responsibility for the performance of distributors within the European region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies. Provide training and support to distributors to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills :
* Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology or related field; MBA preferred with experience in the oncology diagnostics field.
* At least 10 years of experience in business management, sales leadership, or a similar role, with extensive direct and channel partners management experience in Europe.
* Strong understanding of European markets, cultural nuances, and business practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute business plans.
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and financial management.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Fluency in English and a European language; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
* Willingness to travel (50%) within the European region as needed.
