Global Corporate Fleet & Sourcing Manager
The Global Corporate Fleet & Sourcing Manager is responsible for global planning, purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries, registering and licensing vehicles, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles and finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
The role also oversees all commercial vehicles, drivers, and related assets, including their operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance, and overall performance.
This role ensures that vehicles and drivers are being utilized to their fullest potential in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Additionally, Global Corporate Fleet & Sourcing Manager will assist the category manager to administrator of the tail level spend sourcing efforts and purchase requisiton management within the corporate services categories (including but not limited to Corp. credit cards, IT, travel etc).
Key job responsibilities:
* Serves as the primary contact for the external fleet provider and the internal Kennametal car users;
* Support global fleet operations, including emergency assistance, vehicle procurement, and compliance with local regulations.
* Develop and optimize country-specific car policies in collaboration with HR, procurement, and external fleet providers.
* Monitor fleet performance and costs, ensuring timely maintenance, tire changes, and service compliance.
* Manage the Corporate Travel & Expense (T&E) credit card program: approve applications, monitor usage, adjust limits, and close accounts as needed.
* Provide monthly spend reports and support to Executive Administrators and T&E cardholders.
* Ensure accurate cost control, invoice approvals, and reporting on fleet budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
* Support the Category Manager in administering the Corporate Travel & Expense (T&E) credit card program, including vendor coordination, policy alignment, and user support.
* Lead detailed sourcing efforts and manage purchase requisitions across corporate services categories such as corporate credit cards, IT, and travel.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and business units to ensure cost-effective and compliant sourcing strategies within the global corporate fleet and services domain.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor and/or technical degree within a relevant field of study (preferred Business Management, Supply chain management or HR).
* Proven track record within fleet management (+3 years) in the multinational company with corporate car fleet scope.
* Experience in sourcing bid analysis and vendor selection for tail-end spend categories, with a focus on cost optimization and compliance.
* Experience and networking skillset in international environment (having the ability to easily communicate; understand and adapt style to global cultures, and build global relationships)
* Strong communication and internal customer relationship management skills.
* Strong service oriented mindset.
* Excellent English communication skills, German on at least B1 level, other languages will be an asset.
* SAP or other ERP system usage experience will be an additional asset.
* Data management – skilled in analytics; able to maintain key data, leverage raw data to organize and prioritize information for decision making.
* High time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
