Ciklum is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join our team full-time in Spain.

Ciklum is building a team to work on various projects whose primary goal is to improve and automate the customer’s business processes and reduce the time and effort, required for various operations.
The client for this project is the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals. Client provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services worldwide.
Responsibilities
1. Translate business requirements documentation into data requirements and source-to-target data mappings
2. Actively participate in design and data model reviews providing constructive feedback
3. Provide guidance to development teams directed towards technical data-related issues and data standards
4. Provide guidance, standard, and review models for analytics and insights
5. Ensure changes to the data are compliant with the architectural standards
6. Design and architect service and data integrations
7. Get hands-on and support the team in the implementation of complex business logic and algorithms
8. Work with the client’s DA to Develop database solutions to store and retrieve data through the Intela
9. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
10. Improve system performance, troubleshooting and integrating new elements/technologies
11. Optimize new and current database systems
12. Work with the DevOps team to enforce security and backup procedures
Tech Stack
13. Azure Services (Azure ML, Key Vault, Redis, Service Bus, Azure API Management, SignalR, Event Grid, and Azure Synapse), it’s ran in k8s, almost completely built with .NET (ASP .NET Core 3.1/5), has service mesh (LinkerD)
14. Front End: JS (Angular 9+, NGXS, Nrwl, KendoUI, SpreadJS), Power BI
15. The data stack includes Mongo, SQL Server Azure, DataLake, Parquet, DataBricks, and Azure DevOps

Requirements
Data architecture and modeling, Azure data solutions (synapse, integration pipelines, data lakes), SQL Server, Cloud (preferably Azure), Applying Design Patterns, VSTS / Azure DevOps, exposure to container hosted solutions, Power BI, .NET, and .NET Core.
17. Experience working with very large databases under high-performance requirements
18. Solid understanding and hands-on on data structures, modeling, and data warehouse concepts
19. Understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts
20. Exposure to Azure data solutions like Azure Synapse and Data Lake is preferred
21. 10+ years of technology experience with enterprise-class applications
22. 6+ years of hands-on experience in database, data lake design, architectures, modeling, and cloud computing design, implementation, and/or support
23. 4+ years of experience in designing and building distributed applications
24. 3+ Cloud (preferably Azure), Agile methodology
25. Experience with Mongo Atlas and Azure SQL is highly desired
Personal skills
26. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and analytics skills. Comfortable in communicating with executives
27. Ability to think out of the box solutions with pressure on time to market
28. Ability to work independently with low direction and high ambiguity
29. Ability to mentor/coach and grow junior architects
