Offer Description
We are seeking to recruit a research assistant for the INCIBE - DANGER project of the KISON group for the Digital Transformation, AI and Technology Research Unit at the UOC.
The aim of the project is to increase network security and reliability. The DANGER project will generate solutions to filter false or malicious content, protect Internet of Things devices and cryptocurrency transactions, and improve the security of 5G networks.
Responsibilities
* Review of the state of the art of privacy attacks in Federated Learning systems in 5G network environments.
* Empirically verify the functioning of privacy attacks and existing solutions.
* Participate in the design of new solutions.
* Implement and test the designed solutions.
* Document the implementations and results obtained.
* Participate in the writing of scientific articles.
The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary full-time contract lasting 6 months. The scheduled start date is 6 September.
For work on site, the principal location will be the UOC Campus, at Rambla del Poblenou 154-156, Barcelona. At the UOC, we work with an open working model that combines remote working with work on-site, according to organizational needs and the nature of the tasks involved.

* At least 2 years' experience in similar roles.
* Knowledge of AI models.
* Knowledge of security and privacy, as well as networks.
* Programming in Python.
* Knowledge of AI tools and libraries.
* Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in English.
