Spain and Portugal Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits Lead
Description -
We are looking for an experienced Total Rewards professional, to lead the design, implementation, and management of Spain and Portugal compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage country benefits programs, including DC (Defined Contribution)/DB (Defined Benefit) plans, Health & Welfare, time off, company cars, perks, and voluntary benefits.
* Oversee end-to-end benefits delivery: strategy, market reviews (RFPs/renewals), implementation, governance, compliance, vendor management, and employee support.
* Review and benchmark pay structures; oversee supplemental pay and severance programs.
* Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Total Rewards, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Labor Relations, Leadership) and external vendors to ensure effective program delivery.
* Support and contribute to global Total Rewards initiatives (e.g., M&A, Wellbeing, Job Architecture).
* Analyze market data, trends, and program effectiveness to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
* Ensure all programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and support HR/LR in negotiations or local events.
* Communicate programs clearly and provide insights through reports and dashboards.
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree
* 4-6 years of professional experience in the Total Rewards environment or similar role (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Payroll)
* Strong country Compensation & Benefits expertise; trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
* Solid program and project management skills with accountability for delivery.
* Strategic mindset with strong analytical, consulting, and influencing abilities.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Proactive, business-oriented, and solution-driven.
