Responsibilities
* Design and develop mathematical models for new slot games, including pay tables, reel strips, bonus features, and progression systems.
* Perform in-depth statistical analysis and simulations to evaluate game performance (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, etc.).
* Optimize mathematical models to achieve the right balance between entertainment and profitability.
* Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of math models into the final product.
* Provide detailed mathematical documentation to support the design and development process.
* Validate and verify game implementation to ensure accuracy of mathematical models.
* Keep up to date with trends and innovations in slot game mechanics and market demands.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience as a Game Mathematician in the slots or casino gaming industry.
* Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and combinatorics.
* Proven experience in designing successful slot games (with a portfolio or references).
* Proficiency in using mathematical/statistical tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to explain complex math concepts to non-mathematical stakeholders.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
