🔎 What we look for?
We are looking for a Software Engineer with coding skills in Java and/or Spark-Scala and a DevOps mindset to join our Team.
⚙ Key Responsibilities:
* Work across different tasks and adjust to changing priorities as needed.
* Build, test, and support applications using Java and/or Spark-Scala.
* Help deliver and maintain finance data solutions, especially those running on AWS Cloud.
* Support daily operations (BAU) and help solve technical issues.
* Report to a Software Engineering Manager and interact with the development team, product owner, and business stakeholders.
* Share knowledge, write clear documentation, and help promote teamwork and a positive team spirit.
* Take part in code reviews and technical discussions.
* Analyse current technical implementations and look for ways to improve systems and processes.
* Provide technical support and training to technical leads on technology systems and data management tools.
* Support and help guide less experienced team members towards team and departmental goals.
💡 Mandatory requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* + 3 years. Experience with Java 8 and higher and/or Spark Scala.
* Good understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
* Experience with AWS Cloud services, especially for data migrations.
* Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Experience with container tools such as RabbitMQ
