As Data Governance Manager you will part of our Service Operational Excellence, Operational Applications & Digitization global team. You will be part of the Deployment and Support area, reporting to the Team Leader.
Role definition
Data Governance refers to the overall management of the availability, usability, integrity and security of the data employed in the area.
The mission of the data governance manager (DGM) is to define and execute data governance policies and procedures for the effective use of information. Cross-functional work, deeply in contact with the Integration Architect and Product Owners, to ensure that the data satisfies a high standard of quality, including the review of system configurations in cooperation with the solution experts.

How to contribute to our vision
- Data lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of Business processes and Information architecture with an understanding of how, when and by whom data is used.
- Operations business data analytics. To specify data quality requirements.
- Data cleansing action plan definition and execution, in cooperation with Solutions Experts and IT team.
- System configurations data audit and master data management.
- Data owner definition and inventory.
- System interfaces data exchange quality control.
- Work with Design & Development team (Product Owners), to perform data validations and provide clean data sets for test scripts during acceptance part of development cycle (UAT).
- Promote data governance strategies with the Regional key users.
- Data stewards: nominations and collection of feedback.
- Stakeholders: care and support.
- Data issues identification (Inaccessible data, Inaccurate data, Incomplete data, Inconsistent data), proactive resolution in coordination with Solution Experts and/or escalation to IT team.
- Participate in the KPI dashboards definition to ensure that the data fonts are reliable.
- Data security management: consulted in the roles definition.
- To coordinate the actions and system developments to grant that the latency between the data collection and the ability to report on it is reduced.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- Advanced English level: 100% English work environment.
- Technical background: IT systems design and management, high level programming, DB management. SAP4/HANA: Advanced user SAP CS/PM, MM modules. Roles management.
- Advanced SQL: Experience in database handling and configuration.
- Advanced PowerBI: Experience in analysis (BI) and visualization of data.
- Soft skills: Excellent Interpersonal skills and Teamwork
