As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and providing support to assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will include:
* Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
* Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle.
* Managing Digital Services opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
* Designing technical solutions and building comprehensive business cases.
* Developing partner relationships to enhance offerings and value propositions.
* Understanding and detecting customer needs to provide expert advice on IT solutions.
* Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
* Supporting sales teams with technical needs and defining solutions for multinational and local accounts.
* Sharing technical knowledge with the commercial support team through training.
* Engaging proactively with global departments to meet client demands.
* Collaborating with marketing and product teams for training sessions.
* Staying updated on digital technologies and industry trends.
* Achieving sales targets, KPIs, and financial metrics.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Typically holds at least a BS/CS degree; MBA or MSc and relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) are desirable.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sales Engineer or Consultant in the digital industry, with experience in presales and operations, preferably with large accounts.
* Experience testing new products and managing global solutions for multinational companies.
* Deep knowledge of T-Tech's organization and business processes.
* Strong understanding of the digital industry, market, and ecosystems, with a proven track record in business development.
* Professional demeanor with strong technical and communication skills, capable of effective negotiation and influence.
* Ability to balance business risks with customer and company goals, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
* Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent written communication skills, especially in bid writing and negotiations.
Languages:
* Fluent English is mandatory; German and Spanish are desirable.
