The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Validation & Verification Engineer to lead the validation, verification, and certification of power conversion systems and electronic control products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external laboratories to ensure that our solutions meet international standards, technical requirements, and customer expectations in the energy and storage sectors.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Analyze technical specifications for electronic systems under development.
* Carry out commissioning tasks for power conversion and control systems, especially for energy storage interfaces.
* Perform validation tests both in the factory and in the field on prototypes and products under development.
* Contribute to the definition of validation strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria for prototypes and certifications.
* Manage full traceability of test campaigns: from requirement definition to final test reporting.
* Analyze logs, signals, errors, and performance metrics; and generate clear, reusable technical reports.
* Conduct proof-of-concept tests, hardware/software validations, and component qualification.
* Identify and report bugs and non-conformities, and automate test procedures for efficiency.
* Plan and execute product certification tests.
* Collect and analyze data using lab instrumentation.
Your background
* Degree or Master’s in Electronic, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in the design of electrical systems, power converters and their control.
* Hands-on experience in validating electronic products and/or embedded software, including lab test benches and HIL systems.
* Strong understanding of power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC).
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and analyze conversion topologies, operation modes, and protection systems.
* Proficient in the use of lab instrumentation: power analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, temperature loggers, etc.
* Valuable experience in:
* Commissioning of power converters.
* Photovoltaic and energy storage systems (especially battery and hybrid PV–battery integration and testing).
* Test automation (preferably with Python).
* Certification test management and execution.
* High-level technical English (written and spoken).
