WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?
4 to 6 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL development
Proven expertise in data backup, data engineering, and ETL tools
Solid experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines
Fluency in English (mandatory)
Ability to write unit and integration tests following best practices
Experience with system lifecycle documentation and deployment of ETL pipelines to QA and production environments
Strong capacity for independent task management and code review
Nice to have : Native or mother-tongue proficiency in Spanish
Nice to have : Additional skills in data modeling, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.)
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Restructure and optimize existing ETL pipelines to improve performance and reliability
Design and develop new ETL workflows to support evolving business and data needs
Write unit and acceptance (integration) tests in line with software development best practices
Produce comprehensive System Life Cycle Documentation for all data processes
Deploy ETL pipelines to QA and production environments with precision and traceability
Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Take ownership of technical tasks and drive them to completion independently
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned with project goals
