****Job Description:****An opportunity for a Logistic Operational Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations, Cádiz.**RESPONSIBILITIES** The main tasks of the jobholder will be:1. Lead and contribute to continuous improvement activities - Design and implementation of the optimized distribution solutions. - Support AOS maturity development by providing inputs. 2. Coordinate & monitor Logistics activities - Attend logistics SQCDP meetings. - Escalate issues impacting Logistics and/or Production activities. - Collect new needs from other functions & inform with Production about Logistics impacts. - Understand and analyze KPI’s to anticipate issues and improve distribution flow from HUB to Point of Use. 3. Adapt Distribution solutions & ensure data management - Distribution solutions adaptations if manageable at his/her level (physical & information flows). - Ensure maintenance & creation of logistics data, flow cartography & inform impacted functions. - Provide advice and assistance to the shop floor in order to upskill them on physical flows issues. - Create work specification in case of new activities and follow them. 4. Manage & prevent logistics disruptions - Curative, corrective, preventive actions in their scope of responsibility to improve performance. - Perform or contribute to Practical Problem solving (PPS). - Perform first-level IT maintenance by following troubleshooting procedures and maintain regular contact with the support team. 5. Manage Logistics means - Ensure the appropriate use and monitor inventory of specific logistics means. - Contribute to design and maintain the specific logistics means. - Manage specific & standard Logistics means loop for his/her internal & external perimeter. 6. Manage operational distribution activities - Monitor, analyze the performance of the distribution solutions (Physical Flow vs IT Flow) and define action plan if needed using different IT tools.**SKILLS** - Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. - Experience: At least 5 years in Manufacturing, Engineering,... - Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode. - Languages: Advanced level in English. - Technical knowledge: programming in C#, advanced level of CATIA,… - Valuable / Nice to have: experience in automotive will be valuable/a master in X will be valued.At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
