Within our EMEA Bulk Elemental Unit, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer with a focus on material characterization, rapid elemental analysis, and materials applications. The role may extend to other product lines and applications, based around Valencia.

As a Field Engineer, you will deliver and build service excellence that exceeds customer expectations.
What you will do :
1. Represent our company professionally, ensuring excellent customer service for both external and internal clients.
2. Travel frequently within Spain and Portugal, with occasional trips to other EMEA countries.
3. Own and fulfill service commitments, including installations, repairs, data analysis, calibrations, preventative maintenance, training, and radiation services on X Ray fluorescence and optical emission spectrometers.
4. Provide remote or on site services within agreed conditions, setting accurate priorities.
5. Prepare service reports, documentation, and protocols according to specifications and customer needs.
6. Maintain high customer loyalty by building strong relationships and delivering excellent customer experiences.
7. Collaborate with sales teams to deliver profitable customer solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through our Practical Process Improvement Business System.
Education :
* Diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering, chemistry, engineering, or technical training in electronics or a related chemical field.
Experience :
* At least five years of experience in technical services.
* Field service experience or strong service knowledge.
* Preferably, knowledge of heavy industrial processes such as metallurgy, mining, geology, geochemistry, petroleum, polymers, or glass.
* Excellent repair skills and a passion for resolving electromechanical, software, and application issues.

1. Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English, both written and oral.
2. Ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues in challenging situations.
3. Good knowledge of electronics and mechanics.
4. Customer oriented with a professional demeanor.
5. Proficient in PC applications including MS Office and Outlook.
