The Gameloft Barcelona Studio has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Game Community Manager to join their team working on Disney Speedstorm.
As a Senior Game Community Manager, you will be part of a passionate team of social media and community experts dedicated to creating rewarding experiences for our engaged players and fans worldwide. Your main responsibilities will include fostering healthy communities on key channels, developing engaging content, and working with a Junior Community Manager to care for the communities and incorporate their feedback to improve player experiences. Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming communities are essential, along with a genuine love for Disney.
Responsibilities
1. Community Channel & Content Strategy — 50 to 60%
2. Develop and produce evergreen content aligned with game priorities.
3. Coordinate with the Licensor to ensure content meets standards and is appealing.
4. Provide community members with updates, tutorials, and event information.
5. Manage content creation processes and optimize for ROI.
6. Monitor and analyze content performance KPIs.
1. Campaign & Community Activation — 20%
2. Plan and execute community activations for major milestones.
3. Analyze campaign performance and share insights for improvement.
4. Collaborate with marketing and other stakeholders to amplify activations.
1. Community Engagement & Moderation — 10%
2. Build strong relationships with community members through conversational approaches.
3. Work with the Junior Community Manager to ensure coverage and improve moderation strategies.
4. Ensure community safety and manage crises effectively.
5. Analyze conversations for insights to enhance community experiences.
6. Develop and promote user-generated content.
7. Achieve community performance targets and utilize tools for continuous improvement.
1. Planning, Project Management & Tools — 20%
2. Design and pitch community experiences in collaboration with the Licensor.
3. Coordinate with game teams on community projects.
4. Use available tools to analyze impact and propose improvements.
5. Conduct industry trend research and contribute to global projects.
6. Create presentations for ideas and reports using Canva and SharePoint.
Qualifications
* 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within the video game industry.
* Strong passion for gaming and gaming experiences.
* Analytical, KPI-driven mindset.
* Understanding of community KPIs and social media platforms used by gamers.
* Experience working with licensors and community/social media tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
* Relationship-building skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work in an international, fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude, team spirit, and a fun personality.
