PLC Programmer – Logistics Automation.
Overview
We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join a multinational leader in warehouse automation, located in Barcelona.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience programming PLC systems from scratch (Siemens TIA Portal).
- Availability to travel Monday to Friday for on-site commissioning and start-ups.
- Motivation to work in a technical environment with high-level automation projects.
- English level B2–C1.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement PLC programs from scratch using Siemens TIA Portal.
- Design and develop HMI screens and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Lead equipment setup, calibration, and commissioning at client sites.
- Provide on-site support during installation and system start-up.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, production) to optimize system functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Support and train production and maintenance teams when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a PLC Programmer.
- Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal.
- Demonstrated ability to develop programs from scratch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
