About The RoleKongsberg Discovery is strengthening its HSE function with a technical specialist position focused on PRL / Occupational Health & Safety, HSE information systems management (Synergi by DNV), governance, reporting, and continuous improvement in a multi-site, international environment.
This is a hands‐on expert role with strong cross‐functional exposure and impact on global ways of working. No people management responsibilities are included.
What you'll doHSE system ownership & performance reporting
Act as the functional point of contact for Synergi (DNV), coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Drive data quality, consistency and usability of the platform across sites.
Monitor and analyze HSE performance data (KPIs, trends, actions) and translate insights into improvements.
Governance, processes & documentation
Support the development, maintenance and rollout of HSE/PRL processes, procedures and governance frameworks.
Ensure alignment between HSE documentation, system configuration, campaigns and performance reporting.
Contribute to compliance with internal requirements and applicable regulations/standards.
Training, user support & capability building
Design and deliver training on Synergi and relevant HSE/PRL topics.
Provide ongoing support to HSE teams, supervisors and end users to improve adoption and best practices.
Strengthen organizational capability in system usage and performance management.
Communication & improvement initiatives
Participate in central HSE initiatives and communications.
Facilitate coordination across sites and functions to standardize practices and accelerate improvement.
Environmental support
Support environmental activities such as aspects & impacts, environmental reporting and related follow-up.
What you'll bring
Degree (BSc/MSc) in PRL / HSE / EHS, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or similar.
Solid experience in OHS/PRL/HSE and performance management (KPIs, actions, improvement tracking).
Experience working with HSE/EHS information systems (Synergi is a strong plus).
Strong analytical mindset and ability to convert data into practical actions.
Experience delivering training and supporting diverse user groups.
Structured, proactive, continuous‐improvement approach; ability to work autonomously.
Fluent English (written and spoken) for international collaboration.
Nice to have
Hands‐on experience with Synergi (DNV).
Experience in multi‐site / international operating environments.
