Requirements
Education : Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Applied linguistics or related disciplines
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience :
At least 3 years in deep learning frameworks and relevant area(s)
Knowledge of version control tools and MLOps best practices
Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience :
Experience developing open‑source software and resources
Strong understanding of linguistic concepts
Fluency in English and Spanish or Catalan is essential; proficiency in other European languages advantageous
Competences :
Ability to complete tasks on schedule
Ability to work under set deadlines
Ability to work independently, in a team and in a multi‑cultural environment
Conditions
The position will be located at BSC within the Life Sciences Department
Full‑time contract (37.5 h/week), state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure, flexible hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance
Duration: 4 years
Holidays: 22 paid vacation days, 6 personal days, plus 24 th and 31 st of December per collective agreement
Salary: €42 000,00
Additional Expenses Grant: grant for IT equipment, travel, training, stays, etc.
