Role Overview
\nWe are looking for a\nData Governance Specialist\nto help implement and operationalize governance capabilities that enable trusted enterprise analytics.\n
This role focuses on translating governance frameworks into practical, operational processes - including the implementation of data cataloging, metadata management, lineage practices, and data quality routines.
\n
You will work closely with senior data leadership to ensure that enterprise data is trusted, traceable, and consistently available across corporate systems such as CRM, HR, IT, and web platforms.
\n

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Implement and maintain data catalog processes, including dataset onboarding, metadata standards, templates, and glossary support.
\n
- Support data lineage practices by defining required lineage elements and ensuring consistent documentation as systems evolve.
\n
- Translate governance principles into repeatable operational routines, including:\n
- Critical data element tracking
\n
- Data quality checks coordination
\n
- Issue tracking and resolution follow-up
\n
\n
\n
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a\ncorporate-wide Data Quality framework\n.
\n
- Support enterprise content classification and labeling initiatives, including taxonomy definition and rollout activities.
\n
- Monitor governance adherence and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to define data definitions and governance artifacts.
\n
- Promote governance best practices and support adoption across the organization.
\n
\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n
- 3-5 years of experience\nin\nData Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality\nroles.
\n
- Hands-on experience with\ndata cataloging, metadata management, and lineage practices\n.
\n
- Experience implementing governance processes in real-world environments.
\n
- Familiarity with\nMicrosoft data governance ecosystem\n(experience with Microsoft Purview is a strong plus).
\n
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
\n
- Ability to drive adoption of governance practices without formal authority.
\n
- Fluent English (C1 level minimum).
\n
\nPreferred Skills & Experience\n\n
- Experience working in\nstartups or fast-growing organizations\n.
\n
- Microsoft Azure certifications in the data domain.
\n
- Exposure to\nPower BI\nor analytics enablement environments.
\n
- Experience working in international or general teams.
\n
