Personal Carer | BlueCare | Community Care

- Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
- Location: Roma & Surrounding Areas
- Remuneration: $35.51 p/hr + 12 % Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

About the Role

As a Personal Carer, you’ll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

- Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one‑on‑one with clients within their homes and supporting them with daily activities
- Providing in‑home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community‑based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

Role Requirements

- Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification – Essential
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential (International Drivers Licences will not be considered)
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
