Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all E&I activities during the construction phase of a large-scale industrial plant in Spain. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in E&I disciplines, proven leadership on similar projects, and fluency in Spanish to effectively manage local teams and interface with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all E&I construction activities on-site to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
* Review and interpret project documentation, including P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
* Ensure compliance with Spanish electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
* Manage subcontractors and ensure all work is carried out according to design, specifications, and project milestones.
* Liaise with project managers, engineering teams, quality inspectors, and HSE officers to maintain workflow and resolve site issues.
* Support commissioning activities and punch list completion related to E&I systems.
* Monitor material availability and support procurement planning for E&I components.
* Conduct inspections and ensure accurate reporting and documentation throughout the construction phase.
Requirements:
* BSc in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or demonstrable equivalent project experience).
* 10–15 years of experience in similar E&I superintendent roles on large onshore petrochemical or oil & gas construction projects.
* Previous hands-on experience in Spain, particularly on ASU (Air Separation Unit) plants, is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of P&IDs and electrical/instrumentation systems design.
* In-depth knowledge of Spanish construction regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
