ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer to drive high‑impact enterprise SaaS implementations that connect complex IT/OT environments with real business value. This role blends deep technical leadership, solution design, and customer partnership to accelerate onboarding and maximise outcomes for large‑scale organisations. It stands out for its strategic influence, cross‑functional collaboration, and the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor in complex enterprise SaaS transformation programmes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IT software solutions, including capabilities, integration points, and value proposition for very large enterprises.
* Partner with internal stakeholders and meet with client stakeholders to identify needs, challenges, and objectives, translating them into customer solutions that decrease time to value.
* Drive the customer onboarding journey through technical expertise in available customisations and ensure requirements are met during implementation.
* Act as a trusted advisor collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Product Management, Customer Success, and R&D to ensure solutions meet expectations and technical feasibility.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitive solutions, and evolving IT/OT technologies to provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders.
MUST HAVES
* 3+ years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Solution Engineer, or similar role within the IT or OT software industry servicing large accounts.
* Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, TCP vs UDP troubleshooting, and routing basics.
* Experience working with VPNs and proxy authentication scenarios.
* Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting firewall rules inbound and outbound.
* Awareness of conditional access and secure gateway concepts.
* Knowledge of ports and protocols.
* Expertise in enterprise software solutions, preferably in IT/OT integration, data analytics, cloud technologies, or industrial IoT.
* Strong understanding of enterprise environments, including challenges, architectures, and decision‑making processes.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Experience with enterprise‑level SaaS implementation engagements and solution design.
* Proficiency with modern tools and platforms such as cloud infrastructure, virtualization, APIs, and middleware.
* Fluency in English.
NICE TO HAVES
* Experience integrating or working with tools such as ServiceNow, secure web gateways or zero‑trust platforms, and other ITSM, IAM, or security proxy solutions.
* German and French language skills.
