Humanities Teacher – Kensington School
Kensington School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join our secondary team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students in a dynamic international environment, delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and related disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging Humanities lessons across secondary levels
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress and inclusion
- Monitor and assess student achievement, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department
- Support students’ academic and personal development as a form tutor
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
Idóneo Candidate
- A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (IGCSE and/or IB desirable)
- Strong classroom management and a passion for student‑centred learning
- The ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A commitment to continuous professional development and school life
