Manage the IT demands in accordance with the overall IT Schneider Digital Strategy
Responsibilities
- Participate in integral projects across Region Europe. Ensure local involvement as well as local adoption of the solution
- Be the bridge btw Business and our partners / vendors.
- Managing the operational and functional lifecycle of IT subjects in the perspective of end-to-end business processes.
- Following and managing local projects or enhancement realization.
- Following up on the quality and testing of final solutions with vendors / solutions and business partners.
- Local and Global Projects :
- Delivering local and global projects within the Solution IT scope (Finance and Controlling).
- Prioritizing projects and activities to fit Schneider Digital priorities.
- Managing and challenging project demands from the business and ensuring they are driven forward by suppliers or other Schneider Digital teams.
- Working closely with global capabilities owners and understanding new evolutions within the perimeter to promote the re-use of available functionality.
- Ensuring that business needs are correctly taken into account by other teams / vendors and providing regular reports on demand.
- Setting up regular service follow-up meetings with the business and providing information about new evolutions / projects / enhancements.
- Following up on action plans to address issues and business needs.
- Ensuring data quality, knowledge of costs, and L2 support.
- Maintaining key documentation in the app repository, including high-level architecture diagrams, clear contact & escalation matrix, and constant control for the inflow of new applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP system in a fast‑moving, highly‑critical, enterprise application environment
- Significant experience and knowledge of systems design, test and implementation
- Ability to describe / translate business requirements into IT requirements
- Skills with SAP ECC / S / 4 Hana
- Solid knowledge and understanding of ITIL best practice and can convert this into improvements for daily operations
- Self‑driven, operationally experienced Business Relationship Manager with a can‑do attitude.
- Strong relationship builder – both internally in Schneider Digital and business as well as with external partners
- Has experience working with others on a global basis
- Willingness to learn more about IT, technologies, SAP / ERP
- Knowledge on SAP FICO. SAP PS & CS is a plus
