We are expanding our fabrication team, which currently includes two junior and one senior clean room engineer, and are seeking a
specialist level professional
with a PhD, MSc, or MEng and more than 5 years of work experience to work on clean room processing of compound semiconductor and photonic devices.
The ideal candidate should be an independent, resourceful, and goal-oriented professional with a strong motivation to join a technology startup in a technically demanding and rapidly evolving environment.
Job DescriptionAs part of the fabrication team at g2-Zero, and under the supervision of the fabrication CTO, your responsibilities will include:
Applying, improving, and developing device processing recipes on GaAs / AlGaAs semiconductor compounds.
Using microfabrication tools such as UV lithography (mask and mask-less), EBL lithography, PECVD, wet and dry ICP-RIE etching, and characterization tools like SEM and AFM.
Mask design using Python-scripted K-Layout environment.
Team Leadership and Management Skills
Training junior clean room engineers in best practices and recipes.
Scheduling, monitoring, and accomplishing milestone-oriented processing calendars.
Reporting periodically to the board of directors with compelling presentations about processing activities.
Required Qualifications
PhD / MSci / MEng degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in clean room processing of GaAs / AlGaAs photonic/electronic devices.
Strong technical competence in a laboratory environment.
Ability to work independently and actively learn new skills.
Specific Requirements
Legally authorized to work in Spain or another EU country.
