Summary - Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Deliver practical and theoretical service‑related classes, educating and guiding students to develop strong skills, values, and professional competencies.
Support service operations: prepare and set up outlets, follow ordering protocols, manage stock, and ensure HACCP compliance.
Collaborate with colleagues and maintain effective communication with students and instructors.
Assist with student evaluation by providing feedback and monitoring progress.
Contribute to wine‑related operations:
Recommend wines to guests
Supervise wine service
Participate in updating wine lists
Coordinate with winemakers/suppliers
Help organize wine tastings
Ensure proper cellar management
Maintain innovation and consistency in quality control.
Adapt to adaptable schedules according to operational needs.
Candidate Profile:
Sommelier certification or hospitality degree preferred
Food‑handling certificate required
High level of English; Spanish is a plus
2-3 years experience as a sommelier, wine steward or similar hospitality role
Strong wine knowledge (regions, varieties, local wineries)
Skilled in teamwork, communication, time management and high‑volume service
