As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily store operations and ensure total customer satisfaction by meeting their needs, in accordance with New Balance standards. As a brand ambassador, you will help drive team and store performance, adopting New Balance values in a dynamic and energetic work environment.
* PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Allocate resources and organize processes to boost efficiency and productivity in various situations.
* Have a strong understanding of retail KPIs and make decisions aimed at improving store results.
* Analyze store performance (e.g., best-selling items, space allocation) and make necessary adjustments to increase productivity and efficiency.
* Deliver total customer satisfaction through our service model and boost sales via customer experience, using advanced sales techniques to achieve results.
* Understand customer expectations and train your team to consistently meet or exceed them.
* Guide and train team members on products, NB technologies, and seasonal items.
* Coordinate work shifts.
* Minimize losses by implementing, controlling, and following all loss prevention procedures.
* Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of the store team.
* Perform administrative tasks.
* Responsible for keys management.
* Manage customer inquiries and escalate complaints appropriately.
* Understand and support store operations, policies, and procedures through the Retail Game Plan.
* Effectively market the store.
* Assist in organizing promotions.
* Coordinate deliveries.
* Actively participate in sales activities, including customer service, stock control, and sales functions.
* REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
* Previous supervisory experience.
* At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
* Ability to lead and train a team.
* Motivated with a positive attitude towards sales.
* Reasonable knowledge of arithmetic and literacy.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and general retail processes.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of daily face-to-face interactions.
* Teamwork ability.
* Ability to lift 7-20 kg.
* Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
