This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile senior engineer to support the #Galileo Facility Management Project (data center infrastructure projects).
Galileo is Europe\'s Integral Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), the #EUSpace flagship programme, funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information.
CETRA BASE is currently looking for senior profiles with experience in facility management and data centers to be part of our Engineering team.
The position is based in San Martín de la Vega, Madrid.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The tasks encompasses the following activities:
- Definition, review and maintenance of the baseline applicable to sites infrastructure
- Contribution to the management and the analysis of the key performance indicators, and risks, related to the site’s management and the activities reports in the frame of the site’s hosting service progress meetings;
- Provide technical support to CCBs, ARBs, site coordination schedule/ action planning;
- Organization and/or participation to the site related milestones; in particular the site surveys, the site’s acceptance. Support EUSPA either as reviewing entity (e. g. issuing RIDs on data-packs) or as reviewed entity (e. g. preparing and executing site verification plan and producing data-packs documents.
- Contribution to the preparation and implementation of hosting infrastructure, storage and configuration changes, in particular ICD documentation and physical adaptations, including possible installation of CFIs.
- Periodic reporting of the building (data center) and infrastructure status.
Essential qualifications and experience
- University degree in Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Facility Management and/or working in a data center
- Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
- Eligible for security clearance
- Availability to travel within Europe
Security
In line with security requirements of the project the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract and a very competitive salary package, according to his/her skills and experience.
